We voulfllft do without our faculty In 1912, 'l'ech,s o1'iginal faculty nunihered eight. Today, we have Qlf well-trained teachers to teach us the advanced A B C's. Besides having a hroad educational hackground, many are talented in other fields. Their hohhies range from fishing, golf, and farming to dancing and to weaving. llany are collectors of things like stanips. pitchers, antique glass, and rare children's hooks. In school they work congenially with each other, and their friendships aren't centered in their own departments. either. They enjoy the all-school teas and meetings which give thent a chance to heconie better acquainted. llany get together after school hy organizing hook cluhs, fishing together, or just visiting and 'tis rumored, some niay even play canasta. Besides the fun they have together, many work in national, state, and local professional groups, and several of our faculty are ofiicers in these organizations. And a lot. of theni take husnian,s holidays hy teaching classes and directing choirs in Sunday schools. ive don't understand why, hut 501118 like school so well, they go themselves, in sunnner. Sixty-one of our teachers have lllE1StCt',S degrees and three hold doctorates! Our faculty rates pretty high. Students joke a lot ahout their teachers, hut when you conie right down to it, they're a pretty good hunch. Each fall tlte faculty tea is held, giving the teaclters a chance to get reacquainted and also to meet the new teachers before school really gets underway. Note that the men come. too. Mr. Fred R. Gorman directs student aid for boys. supervises fee collection and 1lSSlglIlll0lll of teacher loads. Mr. Dale F. Griffin our business agent, handles the finances, purchases, buildings. the grounds and equiplncnt. Mr. J.
