For three years he advises the underclass members of his room, in the fourth year the senior sponsor is the advisor. Coupled with the sponsor teacher's guidance is the subject teachers classroom guidance. ln order to assist the Techite to realize any special ability he may possess, to adapt himself to the subject matter presented, to become aware of the every-day applica- tion of the subject. and to realize his personal worth as a valuable class member, the classroom teacher includes counseling in classroom discussions and pri- vate talks.
