Football is kin How ABOUT A TRIP to the Gym for a little reminiscing witl1 some of the coaches about this year's athletic season? Specializing in football, we find head coach Howard Long- shore, assisted by VVayne Rhodes. In his first year as varsity mentor, hir. Longshore took a decidedly underdog Greenclad eleven through to a surprising five-won and five-lost season. The Greenmen's losses were hard earned vic- tories for the opposition, as final scores didn't always tell the tale of the Big Green's battle. Tomorrow's heroes are being molded by George hlihal, reserve coach, and George Sprague and VVilliam T1'6lCl1l61', freshman mentors. The reserves came plunging through their schedule with two games on the right side of the ledger and two on the wrong. The frosh breezed by thei1' opponents, com- ing out with a perfect slate for the season and the coveted City Freshman Football Crown. Meadors scores first touchdown of the season. - 26 - ,---- ,........., . Y. . , ...E
