Girls' State taught me alot about the student government and how it is run. All I can say is that l enjoyed meeting new friends and being involved. The experience is a fascinating story in itself. I felt very honored to have represented Arroyo in Sacramen- to. At the end of the 1987 Boys' State session, I was also priviledged to be elected to represent California as alternate to Boys' Nation in Washington D.C.
