VAR ITY BASKETBALL Although this year's squad lacked experience and height, they more than made up for it in hustle and desire. With only jim White, Louie Tramantano, and Dennis Mclntire, returning from last year's cham- pionship team, Coach Allison had to rely on several boys from last years Bee sam. Al Medina, Roger Peters, Fred Grohmann, and Richard Sanchez came through in fine style. Led by Captain Jim White, High Scorer and Most Valuable Player Roger Peters, and playmaker jack Lenz, they compiled a respectable 15-ll record. In league play, our hoopsters came through with a second place, losing but 2 games, both to league champ Glendora by 3 and l points respectively.
