B TRACK After two consecutive years as league champs, our middies took 3rd in the Sierra League. Although the final standings dot1't show it, our Bees were among the best in the league with many of our boys running varsity which weakened the team consider- ably. Top performers for the team were John Algeo, sprintsg Ken Kruzan, hurdles and high jump, Roger Smith, hurdles, John Robbins and Ron Rand, 660 and 1520. Captains were John Algeo and Dwain Briggs. TRACK Arroyo's fine Cee team, losing only to C.I.F. powerhouse Arcadia and league champ Rosemead, grabbed 2nd place in the Sierra League. Led by Captains Lujan and Carrillo the little spikesters had some excellent performers such as Armando Carrillo in the BJ, IZOLH, relay, Richard Lujan in the BJ, 120 LH, relay, Art Parker in the 660, BJ, and HJ record holder, Bill Kruzan. Richard Lujan, Arroyo's sensational hurdler, will undoubtedly be one of the top contenders in the 'Wa CLF. finals.
