A. W. I. C. MRS. F. A. BURNHAM This page is lovingly dedicated to Mrs. Jane Burnham, Past President, Senior Executive and Honorary Life Member of the Arnold Woman's Club, who answered the call of her master on January 29, 1938, and who in her busy life gave so unsparingly of her time and talent in all the things that made for the bet- terment of the club and community. The Arnold Womanis Improvement Club was organized and federated in 1913. lt has an active membership of fifty-one, three of whom, Mrs. A. J. McCants, T. L. Jones, and W. A. Brewer, are charter members. The objective of this organization has always been, to vigorously support all worthwhile civic and community activities. One of the first important ac- complishments. was the founding and housing of the Public Library during its early years. For a quarter of a century the Woman's Club has continuously worked for community betterment. Today, firmly believing that the very existence of our nation depends wholly upon the on-coming generation, the Arnold Womanis Club has pledged itself to youth and its every activity.
