I want to suck your blood Synopsis The Popoff family and the Fry family have been feuding for years because one of the Popoff boys was going out to shoot an old skunk one day and accidentally shot Paw Fry instead. Periodically Mountain Maggie, a legendary character who travels around the hills nursing the sick, must come to patch up someone hurt in the feud. Rosie Belle Fry, being handy with a gun, takes the only unattached male in the hills from under her sister Emmy’s nose. Emmy, who'd like to get “hitched,” decides she’ll end up as an old maid if she doesn’t get one of the Popoff boys. But how can she marry someone with whom her family is having a feud? She enlists the aid of Mountain Maggie, who’s tired of tending to victims of the feud, to put an end to it. Mountain Maggie, wise in the ways of human nature, convinces Maw Fry and Pappy Popoff that some plain sugar water she gives them is a “love potion” which will make them fall in love. They are tired of being lonely and have just about decided to marry and end the feud, when Rosie Belle arrives with the news that it was all a trick. Once more the feud is going full force. In the end, of course, the feud is ended and everybody is happy, but not before there are quite a few merry mixups and ribtickling situations. 21 The gang is altogether

The Story It is Christmas Eve. An airplane carrying five passengers is hit by an unpredicted snow storm. The Stewardess. Miss Lee. and the Pilot. Captain Richardson, inform the passengers that they are in no great danger, but as the storm gams in violence, a crash landing is necessary. The passengers, led by the Captain, leave the plane and search for shelter from the storm. All members of the party express their disillusionment concerning Christmas. Each person recalls childhood experiences which represent each of the four keys to Christmas, the joy of working together; doing things for others; the warmth of the family; and worship. With these four keys, the child. Jimmy, unlocks the door to the true meaning of Christmas-love. Everyone regains the lost spirit of the true meaning of Christmas. Mr Stevens gives a pep talk. Don't iust sit there. HELP1 The Tree trimmers — 4th 5th grade
