The members of the Forensic League are the elite of the orators throughout the nation. ln order to become a member of National Forensics, a person must accumulate a certain number of points for his speaking. These points are awarded on the basis of the place of finish in a contest or tournament. The different chapters of NFL are compared on the basis of total points accumulated by their members. The Academy's chapter ha-s long been rated highly on this list. Mr. James Hannon, the advisor to this chap- ter, has coached his team well in the past years and this year was no exception. Richard Ede, the president of the Aca- demy's chapter, Mike Mahan, the vice-president, Robin Mil- ler, and Robert Birch have won the highest numbers of points in the chapter. Members of NFL have attended Student Congresses and have performed in individual events through- out the year. The Academy can rightfully be proud of its speakers who brought back the trophies and awards this year.
