Those immortal words were appropriate, when in late November the Class of '71 sponsored the Senior Class Play. The Girls in 509 This year's production featured two eccentric women, who had not ventured out of their apartment for a number of years. All of a sudden they find themselves the center of attention and the target of torment. Antics of all sorts made this play one to remember Pusey .............. Mimsy............... Our Co-chairmen. Wayne Preston and Judy Strand, worked hard to make this the best Homecoming ever. The Band played some numbers which added to the festivity of the coronation. Roy Harris and Connie Gray, our Homecoming King and Queen, escaped to the hall for some privacy. 31 1 st place went to the Seniors with their beautifully designed float. The Juniors worked hard on their float which took second place. The great success of the Senior's Spaghetti Dinner was due to the participation of many hard-working members of the class of 71 ” In an effort to increase their vitality, the football players enjoy a piece of victory cake and a bowl of Wheaties The Eagles did break through to victory as they defeated Lake Stevens 27-0 1st row: L Nelson. Humphrey President Dallas R. Olson Lewis A. Bell Stanley O. Lee E. Gish 1971------a year of growth and service. First Federal Savings opened for business in Arlington. During our first week of operation, we had 480 savings accounts for a total of S461,766. To say that we are pleased with our reception in the Stillaguamish Valley is an understate- ment. We think Arlington is a great place to live and that you were probably fortunate to be raised here and to attend Arlington High School. Probably no one ever asked you for your business before, but we are asking you now. We want you as savings customers. We would love to loan you the money to buy or build a home when you reach that point in life. Congratulations on your graduation and every good wish from your new neighbors. Robert M.
