The Eagles opened the season with two impressive victories over Twin Cities and Aubum, only to have their wings clipped by two straight set- backs by the Marysville team, 6-0, and Mt. Vemon, 12-6. From here the Eagles fought back Best Blocker-Cabe Best Tackler--Spencer ANDERSON C SPENCER T to defeat Burlington, 26-25, and tied the heavily favored Edmonds team, 12-12. Next, the Eagles sent Sedro Woolley home with the short end of a 44-12 score. Then the Snohomish team broke our victory string by defeating the Eagles 20-6 in a hard battle, not over until the final gun sounded. Arlington ended the season with a convincing 20-6 victory over Anacortes. Graduation losses were heavy with 10 seniors leaving.
