In the town of Second we met Mrs. Irene Ross. In a bus at Arlington High School The first historical stop was McMichael Dearinger. It didn't leave quite a few along the Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth we met Mrs. Reba Macy and Mr. Clarence Mitchell. We picked up Calvin Wage ner in the Second. In those five years we picked few, but they were wonderful years. up quite a few and lost quite Then the big, moment came, we climbed up a big hill, and were in the town of Sev- enth Grade. We couldn't believe that we were upstairs. That year we electd class officers. They were Ronnie Rucker as President, Ronnie Coffin as Vice- President, and Priscilla Ann Offutt as Secretary-Treasurer. Our courageous leader was Mrs. Mildred Harrod. We picked up Ronnie Haywood that year. In the town of Eighth we left two people behind. The officers that year were Eddie Ronan President, Calvin Wagner Vice-President, and Jeannie Van Osdol Sec- retary-Treasurer. Again our leader was Mrs, Harrod. In the town of Freshmen, we had a new experience of being initiated into High School. It was a lot of fun but awful messy. Our class leader for that year was Mr. Robert Hine. Officers for that year were Rodger Young as Vice-President, Jeannie Van Osdol Priscilla Offutt as President, as Secretary, and Ronnie Hay- wood as Treasurer. We picked up one student by the name of Ruth Ann Turner. At the town of Sophomore we had another new experience. We received our class rings and we thought that they were beautiful. Our leader again that year was Mr Hine. Our class officers were Rodger Young as President, Calvin Wagner as Vice-President, Priscilla Ann Offutt as Secretary, and Glenn Orme as Treasurer. At the town called Junior we had the pleasure of putting on the Junior Play. We also sold candy to the school and at all the ballgames. The name of the play was nMystery in the Library'. We had a good crowd and we sold concessions. That also was the year that the Arlington School had the priviledge of selling concessions at the Rush County Tourney. Our leader was Mr. Floyd Delon, and our class officers were Priscilla Offutt as President, Norman Winkler as Vice- President, Ronald Coffin as Secretary, and Jeannie Van Osdol as Treasurer. Now we come to the final town on our trip. We have at last reached the town of Senior and are we happy. Our officers are Norman Winkler as President, Rod- ger Young as Vice-President, Ronnie Coffin as Secretary, and Priscilla Ann Offutt as Treasurer. Our leader this year is Mr. Ralph John. This year we get to put out the year book called the 'Rambler'. We also get to put on a Senior Play. As our trip ends we look back on the pleasant memories of Arlington High School. If it hadn't been for our helpful and patient teachers we would not have accomplished this success, the success of these twelve years. As we look upon the class of 1955 we find that due to their lucky horoscopes each has achieved success in his chosen field. As the wheels of fortune revolves Jeannie Van Osdol comes into focus. Madam Jeannie is a world famous dress designer. The world awaits breathlessly for the opening of her latest style show in Rome. Next we see Dr. Ronald Coffin who was destined to become a famous horo- logist. He is professor of Horology in Instanbul, city in Turkey. Navigator David Henby directs his space ship with skill. He commutes daily from earth to Mars. Playboy Ronnie Haywood is a well known world adventurer. He appears to so carefree and to have no worries. He is a model for all who wish to be HPD?- Statesman Eddie Ronan is now ambassador to the Pitcarirn Islands. ne re- presents the power and dignity of his country. Norman Winkler, corn king, is a prominent botanist. He is also known for his work in Agrostology. Norman says, NMake two blades of grass grow where one grew before. Glenn Orme is now president of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He did not rise to fame until 1975 when he won four consecutive races in his jet pro- pelled race car. Speed King Orme is fast in more ways than one. We see Dr. Betty Heath an instructor in early Egyptian History. She is an authority on Egyptian archaelogy. Roger Young has become a comedian. He has entertained royalty with his dramatic performances. His motto is to always to be merry, jolly and gay. Ex-prize fighter Ronnie Rucker steps into view. The old warrior of the ring, now retired, was victorious many times in pugilistic combat. The classmates point with pride to Miss Ruth Turner, associate Judge of the Supreme Court. Her advice is especially sought in criminal cases. By utilizing the knowledge gained in Professor Potts chemistry class Cal- vin Wagner is a famed metallurgist. His guiding principle is ustrike while the iron is hot.U Lawrence william Cherry is an epicurean. He has become the modern day Duncan Hines. He is world famous for his astronomical delicacy mole de guajo- tte Csame being Nmo layu sauce with turkeyg. The somewhat carefree but nebulous career of Priscilla Ann Offutt is that of a romanticist. A romantic adventurer by nature ensured her success as a Journalist. The nom de plume NPr1nce Albertn is her favorite for all written articles. M WWW C M My W NV GW Wy Gfygwlwg img gf 19 N? Q We W? N ff, QA ZZ? The Prescotts are a prosperous middle class family. Elinor, Leaper's wife rules the roost, Spoiled Cheryl is Mala's pride and Joy. Petey is somewhat neglected, but he takes up hypnotism as a hobby. Mamie Magoon is so dumb she thinks corn-syrup is a medicine for cornsl Elinor makes Leaper's niece Mary Jo Jennings do most of the house work. Complications arise as the family tries to play poverty stricken to gain Aunt Molly Caids wealth. Mrs. Livermore, the cranky boarder, and Aunt Molly Cain a vitamin expert, take things into their own hands to show the Prescotts that they cannot be fooled.
