MUSIC To boost the morale of our musical groups, we ended last spring with four superior ratings at State for the second year in succession. We would like very much to do it again, and with cooperation of the students with Mr. Willeke, we might just do this. During the summer, our band marched in many parades and also at the football games in the fall. We were asked to participate in the Findlay College Homecoming Parade, which we did, and were very happy that we received a trophy. The musical groups are about the same size this year, except for the boys' chorus, which has increased quite a bit. The band presented a very nice concert in January. Individuals from each group took part in the All-County Music Festival which took place at Arlington this year. The contests, well all there is to say about them is "Good Luck". Thank you Mr. Willeke for all the patience you have had with us. As she gazed into her crystal ball she revealed to me the familiar faces of my graduating class of 1958. The first familiar face to appear was Sue Beagle, She is now a famous beautician specializing in hair styles. She has just finished creating a new hair style for Princess Caroline of Monaco. Randy Porter is now coming into view. He tells me his job is taxing his brain thinking up new rhymes for Burma Shave signs. A satellite appears in my crystal ball. Its passengers are the famous scientists, Larry Steinman and Jerry Lafferty. They tell me they are returning from a trip to the moon and will publish a book entitled "The Cheese ls Green." Next I see an airplane taking off from the PJJ Airport, owned by Phylis andJ' .J . Solt. The So1t's are flying cross-country to see their children while at camp. Mrs. Solt is the former Phylis Houdeshell. Mr. Solt is the famous horse racer and veterinarian. Through the crystal ball I hear the faint sound of music. It is the voice of the famous singer "Floppy" Ward singing his hit song "Strawberry Mound." He said that after making the record he got in a jam, but hopes to get everything cleared up soon. "Hoppy's" real name is Loris. Joyce Wilson has been helping him with his financial matters. Next appearing in the crystal ball is a busy housewife. It is Sandra Marquart, now Mrs. Ed Wisner. She tells me she has made homemaking her career and she is quite busy with her set of twins. A large artificial lake was constructed by her husband, a famous engineer. A portion of a movie picture now flashed into view. We see that the star is Don Kemerley. All the girls swoon when they hear him sing the hit song from his movie, "Flowers Mean Romance." A prize selling novel is the next vision to appear. Its author is the famous writer Eugene Grieser The title of his record selling book is, "So You Think You Got Troubles. " His forth coming novel is entitled "Ten Easy Steps to Teach Your Mother How to Cook." Our next familiar face is that of registered nurse. lt is Diana Frantz, now head nurse at Children's Hospital, Columbus. She appears to be a very neat and efficient nurse. We see a turkey judge coming intoview. It is Larry Brinkman, better known as "Rex", l-E is living on a huge turkey farm, which was his high school ambition. Next appearing in the crystal ball is that famous private detective, Larry Riegle. lb tells me he is hot on the trail of Rough-House Ruby, a diamond thief. He tells me he understands that most girls want a diamond, but they're not supposed to steal them. The next vision was none other than Bob Arrington who is head of the baking industry in America. He now makes a new pastry which is hearty--hoppin good. . r ,-.,.,.,....-,,.,,,,,,1,,.n...........v-v1-v - -vc-0 1-rv, '1 --- 1'-' 1-1' 1' -"'v' PROPHECY, Continued. A noted men's clothing store comes into view. It's two proprieters are Myrna Businger and Barb Cavins. They tell me the reason they deal in men's wear instead of ladies' wear is that men are so much easier to deal with. Speeding down the highway going 109 is a state highway patrolman. We see that it is J im Middleton. He is still up to his old tricks, but at least they're legalized now. Next to come into view is Ruthie Walters, who tells us she is now Mrs. Paul Vandersall. She tells she is living on the farm, but can't stop to talk long because everything is going wrong today. She tells us. the electricity went off, water line burst, telephone's out of order, cattle were on the road, hogs are rooting up the yard, kids are sick and she doesn't feel so well herself. An airline reservationist comes into view. lt is our former classmate, Shirley Feister. She looks very attractive in her blue uniform. Anna Reichley now appears in my sight. l-br name is now Mrs. John Freed. She appears to be a very busy, but happy housewife. Hal Butte is seen in the crystal ball. He is owner of several chain stores. It must be avery profitable business because he also owns a country club called the "Silver Tower." All the upper-crust ofthe town patronize it. Roberta Inbody, editor of the Arlington Star today received the publishers award for outstanding word. Rhea Jean Kimmel. graduate of Bowling Green University is now head cartoonist of the newspaper. The crystal ball moves to the location of California where Cecilia Skeeters is finishing her Doctor's degree at U.C.L.A. Ann Fink and Janice Wagner were named the two Best Dressed women in America in the current issue of Fashion Magazine. Kay Hartman is owner of a chain of restaurants, the largest of which is located in Williamstown, Ohio. It seems as if she was in some kind of trouble and had to go to court. The well known lawyer, Miss Julia Bishop came to her rescue though. Next in the crystal ball we see Shirley Brown on an Isle in the Pacific. She is now a captain in the WAC 's. The last image to appear in the crystal ball is Brenda Badertscher. It seems that while still living at home, oil was discovered on their property. Brenda used the money to travel all over the world to see the sights. She now goes about giving talks on her travels.
