Madaras. The plot involved the romantic Captain Applejack, seeking adventure, which he found right at home in the dramatic arrival of Anna Valeska who played up to his romantic ideas, and of Ivan Borolsky and Mr. and Mrs. Pengard. Through the cleverness of Anna Valeska, who posed as a Russian dancer, and was really the wife of Borolsky. a plan was made to rob the Applejohn home, but they were foiled in their attempt through the appearance of Johnny Jason, a real estate salesman, with too many good ideas. Virginia Bingham: So fond of Kresge's 5 8: 10 that she's soon to be the manager. Oscar Boone: Playing his first game as a guard on the Renaissance Basketball team. Margaret Buckley: Owner of Buckley's Business School. Marion Clark: Dean of Vassar College. Doris Clearwater: In Miss Greer's place as shorthand teacher at A. H. S. Helen Clinton: Supervisor of nurses at Bellevue. Donald Cross: Fast climbing the ladder of success. He is to be a policeman. Dorothy Dinka: A charming air hostess for the United Air Lines. Marion Doughty: Sitting in the oiiice of A. H. S. as a secretary. Joseph Eberhard: President of the United States Steel Corporation. Catherine Grant: Rushing around getting ready for one of her many social en- gagements for which she is already ten minutes late. Sarah Helms: Head librarian at A. H. S. Doris Hunt: About to land at Cherbourg, France. She is buyer for a Fifth Avenue Importing Co. Marie Kelly: The efficient secretary to Vincent Amato. Ernest LeRoy: President of America's largest munitions corporation. Leona MacElveen: Did not study hard for nothing. She is the world's fastest comptometrist. Gert Hegeman: Junior partner of Shaker, Travis Sz Quinn. Ralph Powell: New York's leading politician. Anna Keenen: Making her debut at the Metropolitan. Raymond Smith: Illustrator for the Saturday Evening Post. Robert Bennett: Still baseball coach of the New York Giants. John Kondas: Going out to the pastures at five o'clock calling in the cows. Sci- entific farming for John. Mildred Jones: Famous as a model at Luckey, Platt 8: Co. Philip Porter: In charge of Emmadine Farms. William Sundbloom: Taking a stand-in for lazy Dan. Elizabeth Sleight: Head of the Poughkeepsie Day Nursery School. Phyllis Singleton: Supervisor at the New York State College for Teachers in Albany. Charles Miller: A member of the Buckeroos on station WABC. Merium Morgan: Playing at Radio City Music Hall with her Girls' Band. Sarah Nardone: A very prominent business woman. Edward Pesano: Has just won the world's endurance record for talking. Joseph Manning: President of the United States. Helen Relyea: Living happily with Charles Barton. Evelyn Skelly: Still faithful to John Briggs. Jean Underwood: Has the title Professor Einstein the Second.
