The editorial staff of the college naoer, in session stormy night in the college library, find itself involved affair which is to have national signigicance. CHARACTER Swenson annie Guopy Beany Lyon Margaret Allison Herman Heinrick wlectrician Shorty George in the Libraryn, on a dark and in a mysterious First Claribeth feels a cold, clammy hand touch her in the hall. Then Dick falls on a piece of liver and Margaret is hit in the head by an open door. The staff all rush out of the room at the sound of a pistol shot with the exception of Glaribeth who faints. While Dick, who has come back for her is getting his handkerchief wet to revive her, whe is dragged through a se- cret panel by a weird-looking character. Yhen President Hartmen arrives on the scene, the police are called and an investigation is started. The climax of the play comes when Dick and Vresident Hartmen find the secret panel and Claribeth. Vhen T enson accidentally Falls through the panel Heinrich returns and Evenson tries to arrest him, but he receives an electrical shock and is nearly killed. Tnsnector Burke shoots-Heinrich from the secret oanel and enters the room.
