The trme has come when we must write
A lrttle poem for your delrght
It will serve to keep ahve
The memones of the class of 55
We must admit we re sad to leave
And grreve to think of leavmg thee
As we go on to fame and glory
Addrng a page rn life s story
wrthout further ado
We rntroduce to you
S1x f1ne lads and seven comely lasses
CLASS POEM
who I m sure you ll agree are the class of classes
Oh Gary rs a mrghty sport
A master on the court
Presrdent of our class 15 he
We re sure a success he ll be
Who never seems to lack
A chance to prove hrs worth
When ll comes to makrng mirth
Count the money check the books
Babe wrll guard rt from the crooks
Toots a horn passes the ball
He s a favorite of us all
Her notebook ready her pencil porsed
Trying to take notes above the noise
A Secretary cool calm and collected
Barb was our choxce to be elected
Happy go lucky his name rs Huck
Give hxm a car w1th plenty of pluck
A scissors a comb a lock of hair
He ll never get to heaven in a rockm chair
Shelly is a burly lad
Lucky for us he never gets mad
Cheerful and gay wlllmg and able
All the grrls thinks he's Gable
We have 1n our class an lrrsh Colleen
In whose eyes shrnes a mischievous gleam
Her name 15 Murphy you ve probably guessed
We hope her lrfe wrll be well blessed
A gentle manner a shy smrle
Her admorutron mild
Lrfe wrll be sweet and always in Tune
Krndness thy name 15 June
Ruthre lrkes to roller skate
Especrally wrth Freddie on a date
Around and around she goes
When she ll stop nobody knows
Wrth the gals he sure rs slrck
He makes therr hearts go rickety tick
Don t say Romeo say Brown
Of all the lovers he wears the crown
We praise them to the highest
Maryorie is the talented Miss
Who supplres us wrth art1st1c bhss
Who was that that yust went by
Like a comet rn the sky?
Canseraga bring out the drums
Barb lxkes boys and here she comes
What would thls yearbook be
Wrthout the rdeas of Mrss Maginley
A steady hand a gurdmg light
She always shows us what 15 rrght
Mr Sherry our class advisor
Handsome wrtty couldn t be w1ser
Youthful gay and on the ball
Warnng patrently for Hollywood s call
We hope that you ve en1oyed
Th1s l1ttle poem that we ve employed
