After struggling through registration and a week of administrative red tape, students were lured to the lawn of Palo Verde complex by the gyrating sounds of a rock band, and by the opportunity to relax and have fun at an afternoon pep rally prior to the football game with Big 10 Minnesota. While most students only watched the band, cheerleaders encouraged students to dance and also performed new cheers to be done at the game.
