With Beauty and Rhythm A. H.S. 's symphony orchestra provided musical en- tainment on various occasions during the school year. They furnished music for dramatic produc- tions. The orchestra was one of three groups which helped to present one of the most outstanding Christmas programs ever presented at Argentine and participated in the Spring Concert. Officers of the orchestra were Bob Jenkins, pres.; Sharon Fry, vice-pres,; and Barbara Mullin, sec. The largest of four groups under the direction of Vincent May was the 90 piece blue and gold marching band. The music makers played for all home football games and contributed to half-time entertainment. Performing on Oklahoma Day during the American Royal, marching in the Amer- ican Royal and Argentine Activities parades and participating in the Spring Concert kept this group busy. Officers were Judy Pringle, pres,; Clifford Jefferies, vice-pres,; Joyce Holland, sec.; and Frank Ingels, treas.

They Present Music Adding musical color to home basketball games and pep assem- blies with spirited music were these 21 top instrumental students chosen from A. H. S.'s marching band. This is the second year for this group to boast snappy uni- forms of royal blue corduroy jack- ets with Argentine spelled out in white lettering on the back and gold mustang insignias on the front.
