Social functions were limited to a party, and dance at the Parish House in the fall and a picnic in the spring. One member of the class, John Thorp, played on the senior high school basket ball team and went to the regional tournament. C. E. Swender, sponsor of the class, coached a group in organizing a basket ball team to play with the junior high team and also to play in a tournament with the seniors and juniors. The officers of the class were: President, Rich- ard Mankin; vice-president, Betty Westfall; secretary, Mary Jane Cartmill; treasurer, Pearl Reagan. First Row—Schmitt.
