Tiger Terriiics '74 I-in AHS Music Production The Vocal Music Department ot AHS produced their annual Tiger Territics variety show Nov. 2 for the public and Nov. 3 for the school. Tiger Terrifics featured the chorale in the patri- otic musical review The Spirit of 16. Featured performers were Vicki Ashcraft, Scott Pearson, Mark Revelle, Beth Whitley, Martha Young, Doug Loatman, Leo Baker, Cindy Carroll, Dan Cook and Stan Elmore. All of the chorus groups participated in the show. l. Press Agent Doug Loafman announces what will come next. 2. SECOND ROW: Rita Richards, Kristi Gloodt, Dixie Sisco, Terry Cline, Linda Fisher, Loretta White, Linda Higbee. BACK ROW: Leo Baker, Kent Todd, Stan Elmore, Dewayne West, Jett Wallace, Steve Miller, Greg Mayberry and Scott Pearson. The musical year for the AHS Vocal Music Department began with the preparation and per- formance of the patriotic musical review Spirit of l6. On Nov. 2-3, the same groups performed their annual Tiger Territics performance. On Nov. 7 the music depart- ment entered the Southern Okla- homa Invitational Music Contest and won the Class 3A sweep- stakes trophy. On Dec. 15 the choruses presented Amahl and the Night Visitor at the God- dard Center. Preparations began tor the pro- duction of the musical The King and I during December. The musical was presented Feb. 4-8. The district competition in which all groups participated was held at Ardmore Mar. '1-8. State contest was held in April. 29
