Leaders Keep The Pride The drum majors this year were Tim Nagode, senior, and Peter Day, junior. This was Tim's second year as a drum major. Both Tim and Peter attended drum majoring camp last summer. The officers of the band helped the director, Mike Metze, with decisions concerning band matters. Throughout the year, they held meetings every week. Joan Dupy was head twirler this year. She made up routines for the twirlers during marching season along with being a band officer. The twirlers per- formed at pep assemblies and football games. The band officers were Joan Dupy, head twrrler Kathy Skidmore sergeant Becky Waye warrant officer Beth Wiles, librarian, Cheryl Scearce band queen Cindy Pladziewicz reporter, Greg Trent corporal Robert McArthur, lieutenant, Kevin O Dell corporal, Tim Nagode drum major Jim Lorentzen captain Steve Martin, sophomore representative Mark Fitch sergeant 1. Tiger Terriiics '74 I-in AHS Music Production The Vocal Music Department ot AHS produced their annual Tiger Territics variety show Nov. 2 for the public and Nov. 3 for the school. Tiger Terrifics featured the chorale in the patri- otic musical review The Spirit of 16. Featured performers were Vicki Ashcraft, Scott Pearson, Mark Revelle, Beth Whitley, Martha Young, Doug Loatman, Leo Baker, Cindy Carroll, Dan Cook and Stan Elmore. All of the chorus groups participated in the show. l. Press Agent Doug Loafman announces what will come next. 2. Martha Young pauses before perform- ing a number during the Tiger Terrifics performance. 3. Performers take time out for a picture during rehearsal. 4. The grand finale of Tiger Terrifics . 5.
