Senior Cassa Lsoking back irto the past, we see nine of our present-day Seniors starting to Arcola together. The rire who have beer together in sd¢hool for twelve years are: Delmar Felger, Martha Felger, Delmer Fick, Marilyn Foor, Jim Greerer, Marjorie Gross, Delores Sowers and Charles Yoder. Fred Snyder left in the middie of the eighth Sac but returned to be with his class- mates in his Freshman year. = Among these nine begirrers were also Eleanor Arnold, Theodore Berberich, LeRoy Coulter, Jean Felger, Margret Ann Jacksor, Gerald Johnson, David Mc- Corrhey, Betty Brandom, Robert Mills, Herbert Stevens and Daniel Tucker. In the secord srade, Robert Blessing joined the class, ard in the third grade, we find that we have three more new classmates: Albert Martin, Nick Thompson, ard Dorothy Matsor. In the fourth grade, we find that we have two more new students, Dick ard Joan Middleton. At the beginning of the fifth grade we discover we have lost many of our former pals. In fact, in the first five years we have lost six students. They were Eleanor Arnold, LeRoy Coulter, Jean Felger, Margar- et Ann Jackson, David McConnehey, Robert Mills ard Daniel Tucker. Three new studerts were auded in the fifth grade. These were Leo Butts, Herbert Bran- ning ard Norma Devlin. Dick and Joan Middleton were not present when the sixth grade started out, but joined us again in the eighth grade. Vivian Meyers and Marcita Stippich joined us in the severth grade, ard Esther Ram- seier, Marolyr Simmers, John Erickson and Helen Bercot joined us in the eighth grade... Six boys from Aboite Township joined us in our Freshman year. They were: Dick Burrey, Gerald Burns, Robert Coleman, Robert Hewen, William Fairchild and Allen Head. The latter two withdrew soon afterwsrds. Carl Gruettert, Mike Trahin and Betty Wessels joired us from the Catholic School, and Norma Jean Thiele came from the Bethlehem Lutheran School. Charles Crouch and Richard Cutler jared us as Sophomores but withdrew the following year. In our freshman year, Mrs. Hunt was our class sponsor and Delmar Fick was our president. In our sophomore year, Fred Snyder was elected president and Mrs. Donovan was the class sponsor. Fred was again elected president in our junior year, with Miss White ard Mr. Sharp as class sponsors. As Seriors, Mr. Evans is our class sponsor and Mariiyn Foor is our presidert. 11
