f 'Af ff ff SENICDR CLASS HI TORY The records show that ln the fall of l9hM, that kin- dengarten room of Archer Consolidated School was filled with l8 young pupils. Their names were as follows: Dennis Andersen, Donald Blankers, Kay Brown, Elbertha Nuns, SHBPOU Koepnick, Marlene Carter, Bert De Kok Jr., Rodney Harms, Willa Jean Harms, Jerry Madsen, James Roh- wer, Vernon Rozeboom, Ernest Sorenson, Bruce Stofferan, Ted Tiemens, Marilyn Vander Brink, Mary Ann Wolf, Donald Yenke. Our teacher Miss Dorothy Crooke, now Mrs. Harry Valser, was ready to start us on our way. A we came into the first grade, we had a new teacher N o wa Joe Farms In this year we lost the following oupxls Kay Drown, Elbertha Buns, Marlene Car +er, Bert De Kok Jr , Marilyn Vander Brink We gained one new member who was Varen Mcfarty Je entered our next year of school, which was the second grade We lost Vernon Rozeboom and were unfortun ate to main anyone back into his place We also discov ered that we had a new teacher who was V188 Baker This new fear in which we are now in the third U ade, we found that we were to have new classmates to jo n our class They were as follows Marcella Rolfes, Judy Phlers, Norene Nleuwenhuis, and Arlene Beckmann Durvnv trls fear we did not lose ny of our classmates, endlr this vear with an enrollment of seventeen Our same teacher was back with us, who was Miss Baker The fourth year a new teacher, Miss Jean Roelfson re ted us We gained two new room mates who were Henry Mavenaar, and Wheeler Gill and two puplls who were Mary Ann Wolf and Ernest Sorenson left us aurlng this next year, M138 Jean Roelfson also was with us in our fifth grade Jerrv Johnston moved away and we were sorry to say we did not gain any new members We entered the sixth grade as Junior High pupils We discovered that Wheeler Gill nad left us Leaving fifteen runlls to be excorted by Mr Tarnasky Now we start the seventh prada Judy Ehlers left us to po to school af Germantown We wer sorry to lose her arnascy was the principal of tte Junior high at ttis time Wow we were to bevln o r eighth year of school tlis year we rained a mew member w o was Nancy Peterson In the fall of 1992, we entered hivh school with the enrollment of lS pupils Fhey were Norene Nieuwen huis, QOHPOH Voennick, Marcella Rolfes, Willa Jean Harms yanc Pet rson, Arlene Beckmann, Rodney Harms, Bruce stofferen, Dennis Arndersen, Donald Blankers, Donald Menke, James Rohwer, and Ted Tlemens We gaxned Judy hlers back and durlnv the summer months we lost Karen ccarty Je also lost Henry Wapenaar during the summer months we lost karen We arty no l especially when lt came to lnitlatlon After Famnbell was the lgh school principal and Mr heppler was our class sponsor for thls year fur class number was lh now in the sophomore year f did 1 T lo e or gain any member this year Tris ear we hed n w k the 1 1 lation of e freshman l s Sron or of our lass was Mr Matzdorf Phe Junior year nur enrollment is only 12 members, arcella Wolfes, and Norene Nleuwenhuis decided not o o w tn on ovember Q we gave our Junior Class Play nThe host ouse , directed by r Glenn West We also gave tre Ju11or Senior Banquet with t'e theme 'Hitch Your Wagon to a Star Mrs Skaar was our Class sponsor e Senior ear was very exc1tlnv for every one We were ve y sorry to lose our FP1HClD31 Mrs Gamnbell, who had decided t quite teacdln Ne had our pictures t n a enelli Studio in Sioux City Ve also are look 1 forward to skip dav and our Tueior Senior banquet Kane Pe rsona1oved away leavinrll,sfudents in the class s ,, 'n s Yrs.
