Binks, the butler Marie, the maid Sharon doepnick Rodney farms Judy Dxlers Donald Blankers dilla Jean Harms Elner Hicks, fresh from the country Ted iemens Beevy, a detective. James Rohwer Archie Pomeroy, one of Betty's boy friends Dennis Andersen Andrew Grimes, who claims to be a detective Bruce Stofferan Helen Maxwell, girl friend of Betty's Arlene Beckmann Howard wills, a boy friend Donald Fenke Mr Bixby, having recentl come into a CC Sidelable amount of money moves to the city with his w1fe, Martha and dauvhter, Betty As the play opens, preparations are being made for Betty's birthday party Mrs Bixby has social aspirations and invited a rich yolnv nan, Archie Pomeroy However, Betty has invited Elmer Lick , a friend of hers from the country,who hrs Bixby dislike . During the party Betty suoqests they bla, a vane called nMurder which necessitates turnin the livhts off, and when the ligths come on, itoy is ound un conscious on the floor and a valuable necmlace, aetty's birthday gift, is missing from his pocket A police broadcast warns of a thief in the nei hoop hood. PRCJPHECY As me vo to press there is an odd convlanaoration of people asout to board the Northern Pacific Luxury Irain at ban Prancisco for the first trip across the Pa cific Ocean by train irst on our list of celebrities is Judith hhlers, better known as Irs Meats, and her three children They are roing abroad to study the mysteries of the clarinet The next person to board this special train is Judy's dost friend, Sharon Koepnick Sharon is now an old raid, she gives music lessons and babysits to make h r ay 4 this cruel world She is making this trip because she heard there is more demand for babysitters in China,so she wishes to investigate the situation more thorournly Boarding the train now is the greatest philosopher since Emerson, James Rohwer He has become enpa ed in an argument with some 'reek scholars and wishes to so to Athens to finlst it Following Philosopher Rohwer into the tP8lD is the greatest basketball coach of all time, Donald Blankers He and his team are journeying to Australia where they will compete in the Olympic Fames how up the steps comes another one of the greatest coaches of this century, Donald Nenke His team will offer Coach Blanker's team the rourhest competition, and it's a fifty fifty toss up as to which team shall nre Vail in this year's Olympics Ne now have the privile e of havinv a short inter the greatest mathematical genius since Einstein, and some critics say he has even more genius than the late Professor Einstein Dennis Andersen is the next celebrity we shall in terview He is the most wanted jockey in the world, and has ridden more bio money winners than all other jockeys combined The only disadvantage that Dennis has is his size he's too birl how entering the train is Ohl No! It's the greatest singing rage since nPatience and Prudence , Arlene Betkmann and Willa Jean Harms, better known as ndeary and Worn They are toe rumber one duet in the country and are topped in popularity only by Elvis Presley! 1 I One of the last passengers to board the train is Rodney Harms He is one of the largest chicken farmers in the world Rodney is making a trip to Japan to in vestigate the possibilities of crossing the Japanese Pebble with the American hatched Plymouth Rock, in order to get a hen that would lay harder eras It is ideas like this that have made Rodney such a huge success Last,but not least,to enter the train for this much publicized trip is Bruce Stofferan Bruce is a tech nician in animal husbandry, and is going to Borneo to each the natives the art of hyoridization There he will also meet his ancestors,fyou've all heard of a wild man from BorneoQ,and will visit with them while he works with the natives Well, everybody is on board the train so I guess 1t's time for us Juniors to wish them a successful jour ney and lots of luck on their trip.
