“Lois Benderman, owner of the Bonderman Tricycle Company was the next name in order. Lois had just invented a new tricycle with only two wheels and was taking it to the Swiss Alps for a trial run. The tricycle was never found. At the end of the listwas fon d the name Norman Van Donslear. Mr. Van Donslear was on his way home to Italy and his own little Italian restaurant. He had just eome from Archer, Iowa where he purchased for an exquisite price, a reel e for spaghetti and meatballs from the cooks at the Archer conso idated School, Since nothing more could be found of the passengers, alllupe was given up and the rescue party returned to port. Some time later a message was received from a small island near Spain. It said that all of the passengers had safely drifted to the island and were on their way to their destinations. We all sincerely hope that they make it and we Juniors wish them luck. CLASS HISTORY We started our with an enrollment of eighteen students Judy Andersen, Glenda Blok, Lois Bonderman, Audrey Koepnick, Evalena Fykstra, Caroline Johnson, Donna De Zeeuw, Lowell Baxter, George Blankers, Harold Muilenburg, Jacob Dykstra, Jim Harkins, Rodney Ban Den Brink, Robert Roteman, Irvin Noteboom, Franklin Van Den Berg, Curtis Jass, Kermit Stofferan, Later that year Keith Ver Berg and Gary Haddon joined the group making our total enrollment twenty. We were under the guidance of Miss Dorothy Crooks Know Mrs Harry Kaiserl We entered the first grade with the same group of studentsand again had Miss Crooks for our teacher We made the second grade by gaining James Mc Cosh, but W0 lost Bob Roteman, Irvin Noteboom, Franklin Van Den Berg, and Curtis Jass We then had a total of seventeen in the class Miss Elize beth Den Hartog was our teacher During the third grade we gained Patricia Ballou, Mary Funder man, and Howard Craig, but we lost Rodney Van Den Brink, Gary Haddon and Donna De Zeeuw and James Mc Cosh leaving us with a class of sixteen Our teacher was Mrs Elton Garrison In the fourth grade we had Miss Muriel Beran for our teacher We gained no one nor lost anyone leaving us still with a total of sixteen. In the fifth grade we gained La Von Morrow, Rita Dolphin, Deland Ferrand, Jack Dolphin, Kathleen Lemkuil, La Verna Nleuwen huis and Norman Van Donslear We lost Caroline Johnson and Kermit Stofferan giving us an enrollment of twenty one. We had Mrs Agnes Wilson as our teacher For our sixth grade teacher we had Mrs Paul Hascall We gained Donna Koole and lost Deland Ferrand leaving us with our same number of enrollment twenty one During the seventh grade Donna Koole and La Von Morrow and Howard Craig left bringing our nu ber to eighteen We had Miss Opal Busanmuss for our teacher The eighth grade proved uneventful as to gaining and losing students, so we still had the same enrollment of eighteen Tarnasky took over for that year There were eighteen who entered High School Judith Andersen Patricia Ballou Glenda Blok Lois Bondarman Audrey Koepnick Kathleen Lemkull, LaVerna Nieuwenhuis, Charlotte Dykstra, Evalenaf Fykstra, Joan Shultz, Rita Dolphin, Lowell Baxter3George Blankers, Harold Muilenburg,Norman Van Donslear,Ke1th Ver Berg, Jim Harkin, and Jack Dolphin started but did not finish the whole year Heppler was our class sponsor During our Sophomore year we were the roup that fhitiated the Freshman No one joined the groupbut m Harkin left so we had sixteen in the class. Mr Matzdorff was our class sponsor for that year Joan Shultz left before we started our Junior Year and Rita left during that year leaving us with fourteen in the class Mrs. McDrill was the sponsor of our Junior class and helped us prepare the Junior Senior Banquet We also gave our class play Headin' for a Weddin , under the direction of Mr Good The Senior year was probably the most exciting for us We had Q.
