Paul Keck moved to Paullina so there were only three boys in our class. But Vera graduated from country school and Mary Johnson moved back to Archer so that our class numbered eleven. Mary must have had difficulty settling down because during the year she moved to Storm Lake and then returned again. Our faculty was quite different this year, We new had a music teacher, Mr. Kuhns, and Mr. Maxson, our new superintendent, was quite a drama fan. Several of our class members took part in various plays. During the second semester our English teacher was that wonderful mechanic, who could keep an old 1928 Chandler in oper- ation. Later Mr, Watson broke his finger trying to fix his car, During the summer Mary Johnson again moved away leav- ing our class with ten members. We also gave the Junior-Senior Banquet which was held in the Sheldon Community Building. We had now completed our twelfth lap around the track, Only one more to go. We began our last year of High School in the midst of the eneral hub-bub of hammers, bricks, cement mixers, S and other assorted confusion. Oh, dear, we forgot to tell you that we were building a new addition to our school. For our last year Mrs. Campbell and Mr. Jensen were our sponsors.
