Priest . . . Counselor . . . Teacher . . . Administrator. Father Kenneth Dorr, O.F.M. has served Archbishop Walsh in each of these capacities since its conception. As administrator, he has guided it from the class rooms of St. Mary's Academy to the halls of the only Catholic High School in the Southern Tier. He has seen its enrollment climb from 77 to 440 students, and its territory expand to encompass 21 parishes in 3 counties. Fr. Kenneth has always maintained a close Contact with his students. After assuming the role of a teacher those first years, he was finally forced by the increasing duties of principal to withdraw from this post. Ever since, however, Fr. Kenneth has seized every opportunity to put across some point, some lesson in life. or some Christian ideal to his students. It is this same close Contact that has made Fr. Kenneth an invaluable counselor. His oliice has often been the scene of con- ferences about problems concerning students' lives. First of all, of course, Fr. Kenneth is a priest. During the school day he is in charge of 440 souls and is responsible for their spiritual welfare. This responsibility has fallen on to the shoulders of an extremely capable priest. We, the Class of 1964, recognize Fr. Kenneth's many con- tributions to the school, and particularly to our class, and wish to dedicate this, the 1964 Aerie, to him.
