Under the spirited direction of Fathers Kelly and Churbuclz, Carroll's 1955-56 cheerleading squad has won for itself the Well-deserved admiration and unstinted ap- proval of fans and student body. Too often the efforts of the cheerleaders are overlooked. Not so with the Carroll gang! Their unllagging and en- thusiastic spirit bolstered the morale of the teams and the fans when the going was at its toughest. The agile tumblers have become recognized through- out the city as one of the most unusual bits of half-time entertainment to appear on the high-school scene in many a season. Y CHEER LE DER The members of the cheerleading squad press Dick Casey into service as their chautteur as they lead the motorcade to Griflith Stadium. F. Szwed and V. McHujh enthusiastically lead an eager group of students in some cheers during one of the exciting basket- ball games of the past season.
