The social season of 1955-56 was ushered in by the Student Councils annual Halloween Dance which is traditionally the first social event of the year. The sophomores proved that they were not to be outdone by anyone, as their Snow Ball provided a suc- cessful introduction to the Christmas holidays. A well-attended C.S.M.C. dance for the benefit of the foreign missions enabled the students to have a good time for a good cause. The Junior and Senior Proms, as always, were the highlights of the year. e ti X r .-et gif 4 S if 1 Above: The committee which arranged the C.S.M.C. dance, Jim Kemp, Frank Beck, Millard Crouch, Mike Nalls, and friends, managed to set a new record in raising funds for the missions. Above: The informal dances are regularly held in the cafe- teria which takes on a new appearance when graced with the presence of new and smiling faces. Above: Santa Claus, disguised as sophomore class president Raul Almario, passes out early Christmas gifts at the Snow Ball. Mac Compton is on the receiving end. Left: Thoughts are far from classwork tonight and the English test which will welcome us back to school bright and early on Monday morning.
