In addition to the formal classes in religion, a full pro- gram of religious activities promotes the spiritual develop- ment of the Carroll student and helps to mold him into Christian manhood. Throughout the school year Mass is celebrated and confessions are heard in the chapel each morning. Opportunity is provided for everyone to go to confessioniat least weekly. A Day of Recollection early in the school year and the Annual Retreat at the beginning of the second semester have become tirmly established tradi- tions. l in l 1' . .-if Y sa Above: Father Fittipaldi, moderator of the altar boys, is assisted at Benedction by John Flood, John Leeke, and Bill Ryan. qv-we lil' During the annual retreat this year Father Philip Brown gave the conferences to the seniors in the library. Under- classmen met in the auditorium. Father Daley distributes Holy Communion at the Mass cele- brated each morning in the school chapel. Tim Gorman is the server holding the paten. Below: Carroll students enjoy the advantage of having within the school a chapel in which the Blessed Sacrament is reserved. Many have acquired the habit of attending Mass each morn- ing ancl making visits throughout the day.
