His tall, lean figure was an accustomed sight at assemblies. In Student Council, he conducted the chosen representatives in a democratic way, making decisions and plans by which the whole school benefited. In the ottice of Vice-President, Dwight Cocke has served a successful term. The distinction of winning Arcadia's first Varsity football game will remain alvvays with these boys. Although this being their only win, a spirit of fight and determination was part of the Apaches in every game they played. They never gave up! Late in the season the Arcadians hit paydirt again against Rosemead but went on to lose the fracas 13-7. Leonard Bose was elected captain for the year and Eddie Rowland received All-Pacific League honors by being selected tackle on the second team.
