I believe the math dept has accommodated to the changes taking place in our society, especially the changes in the attitudes and life styles of the teenagers. The math dept has designed courses for the students who haveiarithmetic difficulties: a basic math course Cwhich is individualizedl and a general math course. We have a course in mathematical topics which lets the student do his mathematical thing and arrangements have been made with CSM for qualified students to take calculus. ln addition, district math contests are held for students who are interested.
