The most important function of student government is to involve stu- dents in relevant activities Which tend to create school spirit and prepare students to become active citizens in their community. Weekly bands, musicians day, kite day, Aragon's l0th anniversary party, and such activities created spiritg While Black History Week, supporting the CSM tax election, ecology activities, and other school community services Were aimed at student awareness. Starting a student store, redecorating the lounge, and Working for district permission to advertize in school publications Were some lasting achievements realized by Student Assembly. It was an experience which I shall never forget. Good luck 81 farewell Michael H.
