In their top efforts this year, the Dons drubbed Hillsdale, 60-47 and 60-50 to gain some solace for the loss of the M.P.L. championship to San Mateo. Ironically, Senior center Bob Toschi broke his wrist in the last minute of the first Hillsdale game after having established himself as the league's top boardman. This and other factors lead to a 71-67 upset at Burlingame, and losses to San Mateo and Cap. While Toschi was the big man inside for most of the season, 6-2 Senior forward Bob Snmerby, all-league guard in '64 was the top in- side threat. With good outside shooting and a l7.3 league average, Bob broke Mark Jorgenson's scoring record with a 646 total. Seniors Red O'Neil and Wayne Schrader and juniors Buddy Titus and Steve Dowd were also top players. At the end of the season Bob Somerby was chosen All League player of the year.
