For five years the Right Reverend Monsi- gnor George A. Hommes served thee students of Aquinas as counselor and instructor. Although his duties as Chancellor of the Diocese of La Crosse no longer permit him to serve us in those capacities, they do enable him to further the spiritual and material interests, not only of Aquinas, but also of the other schools of the dio- cese. For this reason we deem it a privilege to ded- icate the '50 TRUMPET to the Right Reverend Msgr. George A. Hammes.
