Tech- nically, the play held problems too. The lighting effects called for rapid and subtle changes, and the set was a challenge to ingenuity. IZ, The musical effects added much to the mood of the play, and the womenls costumes enhanced the pictorial beauty of the production. There was a long list of Aquinas students work- ing on this year's production whom we cannot list here. For their generous and cheerful coopera- tion we are most grateful: of their efficient and in- telligent service to their college. we are most proud. Considering the calibre of the teams it faced, the basketball team came through in fine fashion. Coach Ray Null brought some new faces to the campus this year including Tom Williamson, jim Kanary and Ray Bauer. The teamwork of the players became evident as players hit the double figures of the scoring columnin game after game, and the victories far outnumbered the losses. High points of the season occurred at the first game with Northern Michigan, a nationally ranked college, when the Tomies lost by only one point, and the great battle which the team showed at the Calvin game before losing in the final minutes.
