During our first year we became acquainted with high school life and began to settle ourselves. As Freshmen, we joined many organizations, participated in sports and looked into the future, planning our educational cirriculum. In our Sophomore year we reached the halfway mark of achievement. Now we were beginning to become class and school leaders. As a reward for previous work, we received Junior Class rings in 1967. Another treasured highlight of that year was the Junior-Senior Prom on which we worked so hard and enjoyed so much. We had the pleasure of presenting a Junior Class play in the spring. As our last year approached, we became excited with the ordering o f graduation invitations, senior portraits, and caps and gowns. With the capable assistance of our sponsors, Mrs. Mary Grey Holland and Mr. Thomas E. Ashworth, we have succeeded in attaining our goal: a high school education. Behind us lie many memorable and pleasant events. Before us stretches the future—vast, unknown, and yet to be conquered. 28
