During a weekly gymnastics practice, Lynn Skarda assists a fellow G.A.A. member, Toni Mueller, in a handstand on the balance beam. Awaiting their turn, G.A.A. members get into position for take oft in a swimming competition among the classes. The juniors won the con- test by tallying the highest number oftpoints. Julie Sawyers battles with her opponent for the ball during a G.A.A. basketball game. G.A.A. offered many sports for girls this year in- cluding gymnastics, badminton, and basketball.

COURIER RECORDED THE YEARS EVENTS Geoff Gilpin enjoys a snack and at the same time obtains Sports Editors John Sinclair and Brian Borchardt look over an article which the necessary energy to complete his assignment. they collaborated on for the Courier. Mary Skarda finds that being Editor-in-Chiet of the school newspaper can be a trying and exhausting experience. Mary succeeded Bob Buesing as uchief at the second semester. Two members of the Courier staff, Cheryl Swick and Steve Haynes, work out their problem on the magic guessing stick.
