The Lexington native has played for four seasons and made the All-Conference team two years. Last fall he was awarded the Boh Broome Memorial Scholarship. .All the sweat, blood, and tears that went so far toward making football the autumn King of the Campus pushed the 1959 squad into second place in the North State Conference. They boast an over- all record of six wans against four losses. Freezing weather on game nights, faithful spec- tators, energetic cheerleaders, and a spirited band reflect this season ' s events.
