Since the granting of the State Charter in 1903, this institution has been known as Appalachian State Teachers College. We have tried to present through photographic glimpses some of the activities of the col- lege. Hoping that our efforts riiay in years CODTEDTS to come renew in the hearts of Appalachian students, wherever they may be, that un- ending love for the home which has given to us the heritage of half a century, we Pjij iy; you the 1953 Rhododendron.
