RELIGIOUS EDUCATION I With the Sunday School only able to reach the minds and hearts of children for an average of seventeen hours a year, this time must be planned and used efficiently. The necessity of good prepar- ation is but one of the points stressed by Mrs. S.G. Norris in Religious Education l. "Start a fire! Build a bridge! For instance! Demand action! H These are familiar terms to the freshmen public speaking class taught by Paul Cook. Through class participation the students develop the essentials for effective speaking.
