0 Bev. S. G. Norris "let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine.n The first things that are recognized and that leave a lasting impression upon the student entering A.B.I. are competent leadership and efficient administra- tion, attributes necessary for the success of any enterprise. These are found in the God-called and God-filled man, Rev.S.G. Norris. He is one who is consecrated and desires a place which can afford him a greater opportunity of service. He retains an unblemished reputation in all his varied relationships. He is progressive, having a pioneer spirit, being unafraid to launch out into the deep, not satisfied with past achievements but vigorously looking forward to new and greater accomplishments. Brother Norris is devoted to onellain objective, "A better trained ministry.' ' Eight

GOD'S IMMUTABLE LAWS Man-made laws are temporal, therefore subject to change, but God's laws are divine in every dispensation. That's a heartening truth in this topsy-turvy world. Much that is going on about us, simply does not add up correctly. Our nation's capital drenched with scandal, American boys wounded and dying, and yet we are told the nation is not really at war in Korea, England sending troops on one hand to fight the Chinese Reds and on the other hand demanding the recognition of Red China and free trade in Hong Kong. It all adds up to a very confusing picture. In religion, the same crazy-quilt pattern is in vogue. The denominations sing, preach and perform works in the name of Jesus, but oppose with vigor all of us that baptize in that wonderful name and turn thumbs down on the Bible experience of Pentecost. The Catholic church has become so bold in America that they dare claim an absurdity, making a dogma of the assumption of Mary. This would not be possible in a clear-thinking righteous generation. The Jews add to the confusion by their Zionist movement and forcing a "Mock-millenniumn in Palestine. So, with sin uncovered in high places, with the political world moving in very uncertain paths, with religion following like little whirlwind-gusts just before a storm, it is no wonder the individual on the street is either deeply moved with concern or swings to the careless attitude of, "I'll get mine and let the devil take the hindermost.n We are heading rapidly into the time Daniel warned us of - world confusion. The iron will simply not mix with the clay. WHAT WILL GOD D0 ? What will God do ? No one knows for sure, but I hope He moves again in the earth before the rapture. It seems like an ideal time for sincere people to grasp hold of something real in religion, if they knew where to turn. Thousands are joining churches of all descriptions, but the great majority are not. Our position as Pentecostal people is excellent, if God moves. We are certainly under obligation to pray to that end. May the Lord grant an affirmative answer. How will we know if God really moves ? What immutable law could we follow ? This much is certain. If a final manifestation comes, it MUST follow this Scripture pattern. The Spirit must glorify Jesus Christ as the Deity. If the Holy Ghost is poured out in copious showers, men will have the same revelation as they did on the day of Pentecost. There will be no confusion about doctrine. There will be no straddling the fence - one foot on the foundation of the Deity and the other on so-called "trinity."Jesus told His followers when the Spirit of TRUTH would come it would glorify Him. He told them that when the genuine Holy Ghost baptism was given, they would understand plainly about the Father..i.e. that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. And that's exactly what happened on the Day of Pentecost. The Holy Ghost was received and immediately they preached that Jesus was both Lord and Christ! That doctrine is an Immutable Law of God. Any such move that magnifies the Spirit, or the gifts, or straddles the fence on the doctrine of the Deity of the Lord Jesus is definitely NOT God's move in the earth. Don't be deceived. The disciples were not confused on the day of Pentecost, they went through the Roman Empire and preached, baptized and performed exploits in His Name. The Holy Ghost magnified the name of Jesus Christ. If God moves, the same pattern will follow. The nine gifts are really by-products of salvation. They are secondary to the revelation of God in Christ. Let us be patient and live above sin. Let's not be trapped by anything contrary to the innmtable law of God. What an excellent time to come to Bible School and prepare for the final round. What pleasure to rightly divide the Word df truth. What a consolation to learn how to use all of that knowledge skillfully, helping to restore health to the souls of nen in a confused world. J, X9 cvvmlay Nine
