MIDWAY TABERNACLE
For thirty years hlidway Tabernacle in St. Paul has resounded
with prayer and praise in Jesus? Name. For all these years the
Tabernacle has stood as a' symbol of the battle of right against
wrong. Due to the blessing of the Lord and the progressive leader-
ship of Rev. S. G. Norris, the congregation has found it necessary
to relocate in more spacious quarters. The Xlidxyay Tabernacle
building will now be devoted entirely to the interests of the Apostolic
Bible Institute. This arrangement signalizes a great forward move
in the future of the Apostolic Bible Institute.

KEYSTONE EDUCATION
V W The keystone is the stone at the topmost point of an arch which holds the whole structure in place.
lhe endeavour of the faculty of the .'X.l3.l. is to equip the student with religious education of the key-
stone type which will enable him to test the validity of theories and doctrines which arise as we
near the coming of the Lord. Other than this, our efforts are directed toward supplying information
which will ht the student for the particular religious held which he has chosen.
livhen this school was founded in 1937 it was milled affcl' U0 Ofllcl' lllsflfllflofl- WC hllmbll'
sought Cod for guidance and for the best methods for teaching our young people. We have always
desired that the pupil might some day become the teacher and have held back none of our cherished
time-tested secrets from the student in order that he might be fully equipped.
Our method today is the same solid middle of lllC l'03Lll' PVOCCSS HS ill 1937, With. of COUFSC-
2lLllllti011S which only experience can give, AX Hy-gt year student starts in the Old Testament class with
Genesis and is led step by step into the tabernacle plan and on. in sequence. until he finally arrives
at the Book of Daniel. He is llOt allowed to skip about from one book to another but surely and firm-
ly he lays a foundation so that he knows where he is and feels at home in the foundational books of
the Bible.
To further such keystone training the second year students specialize in twelve books, the Xlinor
Prophets. .Xmos lives again as he did in the days of .leroboam the Second. YVhen these books are
mastered the student is ready for the Gospels. 'l'hen the student is ready for .Xcts and the lfpistles.
.Xt the end of such a course the student realizes the advantage of this manner of study. Each course
in the .X.ll.l. lays its studies on such a foundation. Such a method gives the student a feeling of
security and helps him keep his balance in this topsy-turvy religious world of today.
Our purpose in htting the student in such a manner is because the adversary has tried to divide
the Pentecostal ranks into three groups. One path leads down the cold formal way of denomina-
tionalism, using beaten paths for beaten men. Such leadership has always robbed Gods people ol
spiritual life and blessings for no one can relegate the l.ord -lesus Christ to a corner and still enjoy
His presence. This program is surely not the Pentecost we read about in the Book of .Xcts but is a
modern day substitute for the power of Cod. Yve must not forget that .lesus said. 'ffpon this rock
lwill build my CHllRC'H fthe called-out onesl. not. f'l'pon this rock I will build a synagoguef'
Pentecost will always be different.
.Xnother path. which is the opposite of cold formality. is the wild-fire path. where extreme demon-
strations and fleshly mechanics in the name of religion are substituted for the real presence of God.
This desperate condition of trying to force the l.ord to bless or manifest Himself has led to several
harmful and false doctrines during the past few years and months. -lust as the advocate of cold
formalism cannot relegate the l.ord to a corner. neither can the extremist force the Lord our God
to move at His every whim and fancy. 'l'he world is looking for something real. a salvation that is
of the keystone variety. something that will stand lllf' Simms of life'
.'X.li.l. is far from perfection but we are trying with all the honesty within our hearts to keep
in the center of the road where divine favor lies. We lVCllCVC OUT' Cmlfc Pentecostal movement needs
young men and women to be rooted and Q1'OUHCled in the fundamentals of Christian Education so
that they can take their place as one of the keystones as a pastor, evangelist. missionary, Sunday
School teacher or lay worker. To this cause do We pledge ourselves. YVe solicit your prayers and
financial aid for this great work.

The Senior Class of 1950 wishes to express its sincere
appreciation to George Klolherg, junior art student of the
Lfniversity of Klinnesota, who gave so unselfishly of his
time and so liberally of his talent and effort that his artis-
tic efforts might contribute to The Way.
Georgels portrayal of the Christian's work and the
Christian's reward in the drawings is very effective. As
we labor in the great harvest field for the Lord, hy faith
we can discern what George Molherg has so aptly sil-
houetted in the distance in his drawings, the New jeru-
salein.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death ol his saints
C. Wiilliam Larson truly was a saint of Ciod. Ile lived the life in his
home, and in his work as well as in the church. Klidway Tabernacle
sadly misses lirother Will. it the time ol his passing away he was
a Deacon as well as Secretary-'.l'i'easnrer ol Xlidway Tabernacle.
He was also a member of the Church orchestra.
Will Larson, son of Blix Si Klrs. .Xnton Larson. was born june
29, 1916, at Lowell, Nlass.
Seeking God early in his teens, he was hapti ed in -lesns' Name,
April, 1932 and received the Holy Ghost a len' months later. He
attended the .X. 13. I. for the ll?-ll-42 session and in june of that
same year inarried Genevieve Lnndqnist.
Will liarson was very inlluential in obtaining our new church.
Rlany times nhen the going seemed rough to all, he often said.
YYe'll make it. Will was determined: he could not be discouragedl
On Dec. 22, I9-W, Bro. Xliill became ill and passed away Jan.
20th, 1950. lt was the great faith of this man that causes him to be
missed hy the saints at Xlidway Tabernacle the students of the Apo-
stolic liihle Institute, his relatives. hnsiness associates and friends.
