about 9:00. Mr. Buzard and Miss Walker took over, and we sang
until the all-clear. By this time we were getting acquainted with high
and the rest of the year moved along rather smoothly.
By September l943, we considered ourselves upperclassmen. We could
join the Clee Club, Boys' Chorus, Cirls' Athletic Association. Tri-Hi-Y
Cirls gave an hour assembly which was very humorous. We had a skating
party, dance, and tried other ways to earn money for our treasury.
With Miss Henry for our advisor, and Harold Williamson as our Presi-
dent, we began to go places our Junior year. We divided our class into com-
mittees and started to earn money. We ended our year with the Junior-
Senior Prom, which was a big success.
Finally, we came to our last year in high school and the last year in
school for many of our seniors. Dick Bollinger and Vic Neatrour were the
first to enter the service our Senior year, although Zorro Stefannini, Jack
Dunmire, Leland Clark, Richard Hilty, Paul Felton, and Gene Shaffer, had
already gone. With Mark Hildebrand as our Senior President, we received our
class rings, pictures, and a production of our play, A Mind of Her Own.
With Mrs. Russell as our Senior advisor, we made a big success at our foot-
ball stand. We all believe we accomplished a great deal in our twelve years
in school.
