From the fields where football's played,
To the courts where cagers stayed,
To the dear old high school halls
We love so well:
Sing the song of our true love,
The one we hold above
All the other high schools in our land,
We are students of, the school we love,
A. H. S.
And we'll ever be true and be loyal to you,
A, H, S,
Wherever we roam on land or on foam,
Keep in our hearts the memories of home,
And God be with her while we are gone,
A, H, S,
Look not into the past. . , it comes not again, . .Wisely improve the
present. . . it is thine. . . Go forth to meet the shadowy future without
fear, and with a manly heart,

Some of the three hundred teachers that
gathered in Antlers to attend the tri-county
workshop in October pause for refreshments
outside the home economics cottage,
LaVon Lewis won first place in the local "I Speak
for Democracy" contest, conducted by the Voice
of Democracy which is sponsored by the United States
Junior Chamber of Commerce. In this contest Creda
Sherrer won second and Gary Jackson third place,
while Joan Rose and Bob Bryant won honorable
mention.
Notice! Mr, Hooser's desk is in order, but
it was such a task that he had to don his
work clothes.

We dedicate this page to the memory of Margaret
Clymer, Mrs, Clymer, who taught the third grade
at Brantly, had been in the Antlers school system for
four years and all are grieved at her passing, We can
say with-the poet-
"None knew her but to love her
None named her but to praise. "

WE ARE THE FUTURE HOMEMAKERS OF AMERICA
We are the Future Homemaker: of America.
Our vision is eight fold and world-wide
We ask our Father in heaven
To give us the strength and will
To fulfill our purposes.
We are learning to live more useful and satisfy-
ing lives through our Future Homemaker activities.
Our motto, "Toward New Horizons," expresses the
purpose of our organization, to learn to live better
today in order that our lives and those of our fam-
ilies may be better tomorrow.
Everyone is important in our dub.
Everyone shares in the planning.
Everyone shares in .the doing.
Everyone has a chance to grow.
For we are the Future Homemakers of America.
We face the future with warm courage
And high hope.
