Comprising the Homecoming activities was Hobo Day, a pep assembly during which Delores Wagner was crowned queen, a parade of activity and class floats, the football game, and a post-game dance. The pep assembly included a Gibson Girl re- view ancl an old-fashioned melodrama, starring Lana Turner Lukas and Orson XY'elles Duchac. It was Z1 cold and rainy day for the parade but de- spite the weather the floats were wonderful. The winning class float this year was submitted by the junior class. Wfinning activity floats were first place, choirg Second, Drama Clubg and third. Forestry Club. The Student Council supervised the homecoming events. KAPLAN AND FISHER CLAIM COSTUME PRIZES For the second year Hobo Day was cele- brated in A.H.S. and the enthusiasm gave as- surance that it would continue. The assortment of bums and derelicts was at least as weird and varied as last year, if not more so. This year prizes were awarded to the fun- niest and most original hoboes.
