Many remained in Portsmouth, most others visited London or the surrounding country side. There was so much to see, so much gift shopping to be done. Whether anyone actually accomplished all that was anticipated, is really doubtful. But whatever was accom- plished, everyone agrees, we did have a most delightful time in Eng- land.
