AIR DEPARTMENT AriTIETAM ' s Air Department is the Lone Wolves ' of HSL 45 DET 1, homeported at HAS north Island, San Diego, They fly a two plane detachment of SM-60B Seahawk helicopters, the most advanced helicopter in the fleet. The he- lo s missions include ASW, OTM-T, Search and Rescue, and logistic support. The det embarks maintenance personnel and operators to sup- port sustained air operations at sea.
