Mixed Chorus Harmony in Blue Our Mixed Chorus this year has been quite successful in one of the busiest years that they have ever experienced, Some of the appearances that they had were the variety show this year entitled Mississippi Showboat, the Lucas County Teachers Meeting, an exchange concert with Maumee High School, and they sang for the Waterville Rotarians. Under the capable direction of Mr. Falor the Mixed Chorus again brought honors to Anthony Wayne when they received a Superior rating in both District and State Contests for the second time in our history, Mr. Falor also directs the Boys' Glee and Girls' Glee, The following were officers for this year: President ...................... . . . Future Homemakers of America The eighty F,H.A. members kept themselves busy this year making money and having fun through the use of their theme Teeners+Parents S Good Citizens. Annual events in which the group again took part were the following: initiation, the skating party sponsored jointly with the F.F.A,,.Daddy Date Night, the Mother-Daughter Banquet, and celebration of National F.H.A. Week, April 5-ll. New events for the year were as follows: Career Night and serving as host for the County F.H.A, Spring Rally. Karen Ferrel, chapter historian, was president of the Lucas County Chapter this year. Girls in F.l-LA. can win recognition by qualifying for the Chapter, the County, and the State Homemaker Degrees. The Chapter Degree is awarded at the County F.l-l,A, Spring Rally to all girls in the county who are eligible. Twelve girls from Anthony Wayne earned Junior Degrees, and ten girls were awarded Chapter Degrees.
