The Fine Arts The fine arts. Music, paint- ing, crafts; the works man has created since before recorded history to express his innermost feelings, whether about religion, love, or just day-to-day living. Learning to Communicate What man survive in this world without communication with his fellows? The language courses teach communi- cation through the written and spoken word, and, a relatively modern method, the camera. And the People Who Create Them Social studies deal with the historical, political, and envi- ronmental facts and ideas of civilizations.
